چکیده

Abstract Background Long intergenic non-protein coding RNA 00342 (LINC00342) has been identified as a novel oncogene. However, the functional role of LINC00342 in colorectal cancer (CRC) remains unclear. Methods The expression is detected by real-time PCR (RT-PCR) analysis. Cell proliferation, migration and invasion xenograft model are examined to analyze biological functions vitro vivo using colony formation, would healing transwell analyses. Dual-luciferase reporter immunoprecipitation (RIP) assays used identify target interactions between LINC00342, miR-19a-3p aminopeptidase like 1 (NPEPL1). Results was highly expressed CRC. Down-regulation inhibited cell proliferation metastasis CRC cells. Moreover, knocking down tumor growth vivo. Mechanistic investigation revealed that might sponge regulate NPEPL1 expression. Further indicated ontogenesis facilitated due depletion NPEPL1. Conclusion promotes progression competitively binding with

LncRNA GAS5 contributes to lymphatic metastasis in colorectal cancer

Colorectal cancer (CRC) ranks the third most common type of cancer worldwide. However, the detailed molecular mechanisms underlying these processes are poorly understood. Recent studies have shown that lncRNAs play important roles in carcinogenesis and progression of CRC. The lncRNA growth arrest special 5 (GAS5), was previously identified to be down-regulated and functions as a tumor suppresso...

HOTAIR contributes to cell proliferation and metastasis of cervical cancer via targetting miR-23b/MAPK1 axis

The long non-coding RNA (lncRNA) HOX transcript antisense RNA (HOTAIR) has been found to be overexpressed in many human malignancies and involved in tumor progression and metastasis. Although the downstream target through which HOTAIR modulates tumor metastasis is not well-known, evidence suggests that miR-23b might be involved in this event. In the present study, the expressions of HOTAIR and ...

LncRNA CHRF-induced miR-489 loss promotes metastasis of colorectal cancer via TWIST1/EMT signaling pathway

microRNA-489 (miR-489) is a novel cancer-related miRNAs and functions as a tumor suppressor in human cancers. While, the clinical significance of miR-489 and its role in colorectal cancer (CRC) remain rarely known. Here, we found that the levels of miR-489 in CRC tissues were significantly lower than those in matched tumor-adjacent tissues. Furthermore, decreased levels of miR-489 also observed...

miR-103/107 promote metastasis of colorectal cancer by targeting the metastasis suppressors DAPK and KLF4.

Metastasis is the major cause of poor prognosis in colorectal cancer (CRC), and increasing evidence supports the contribution of miRNAs to cancer progression. Here, we found that high expression of miR-103 and miR-107 (miR-103/107) was associated with metastasis potential of CRC cell lines and poor prognosis in patients with CRC. We showed that miR-103/107 targeted the known metastasis suppress...
